Redwood Swings & Things is a small family owned and operated business nestled in the foothills of Central California. Located approximately 40 miles northeast of Fresno in the little town of Auberry is where we (The Elliotts) make our home and our living.

In 1997, my husband's parents brought the redwood patio furniture business to Clovis, California. Needing someone to build the furniture, they approached my husband (Chris, their eldest son) who had been in the carpentry business for 12 years. With his creativity and knowledge of tools, Redwood Swings & Things was established.

In January 2004, his parents sold the business to Chris and me, and we moved it to our hometown of Auberry. Our main motivation for moving the business is our three young children... Stepheny, Erik and Grace. Being available for our children and able to attend their school functions is a main priority for us. We are very fortunate to have this situation. Our children are learning the ins and outs of the business and are very helpful in many ways... which is hopeful in the thought that one day they may be running the business. So to sum it up... Chris is behind the tools, I myself (Vikki) am behind the phone, and our children help in any way they can.
